A CENTURY OF CHANGES FOR BRONTE'S SWIMMING CLUB

The Finishing Line.

Our speaker on Saturday, 10th March has assisted the promotion of swimming at Bronte Pool over many years. The Ellison family feature on swimming efforts in Bronte in Stan Vesper's noteworthy book on the early efforts to promote life saving and swimming itself.

The changes in the Saturday morning swimming club at Bronte have seen members strengthen their support. What was a ladies' club now caters for both genders. There has been strong co-operation between citizens and municipal staff to reach the high standards of today along the beaches of Waverley. The Bronte community has assisted this process.

We are delighted to welcome Brian as a new member of our Society.

Learn of the strong efforts by community members to promote swimming over a century.
